25 Years of Common Sense
Tim here. Do you want some Free help collecting your debts?
With nearly three decades in the debt recovery industry, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges creditors face. While numerous organisations assist debtors in avoiding debt, there’s a distinct lack of support for those who are owed money. This website is designed to hopefull provide creditors with a reliable, transparent, and ethical pathway to successful debt recovery. Without spending a heap of cash!
Most of the time a brief explanation of the debt will do. I will sometimes need some details of the debtor to have a look at them. No footprint is left on the debtor’s credit file.
Hopefully we’ll get a result. But one thing I will guarantee is that you’ll get a straightforward opinion from me about whether to take legal action. An opinion that won’t potentially cost you thousands.
Email me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can:

why Use The Debt Recovery Manual?
Hi there! So, you need help collecting a debt? You’ve come to the right (or possibly the slightly unhinged) place. After coming up 30 years of wrangling debtors, I’m sharing many of my secrets… for free! Why? Because after nearly three decades of this, my counselor said I needed a hobby that didn’t involve spreadsheets and stern phone calls. As for the ‘Debt Recovery Manual’, let’s just say it was either that or admit the website template defeated me. And hey, it is free – so the worst that can happen is you learn something, and I get to play more tennis. Win-win!

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Everything that you will find on my website is opinion based from years’ of experience.
I cannot assist with debt recovery companies owing you money, or for refunding upfront fees that you may have paid.
After a 6-year period, a debt becomes statute barred, which means it is no longer a legally recoverable debt and I would not be able to help. However, if your debtor has offered you payment, or has made a payment within the 6-year period, it extends the period for another 6-years. Also known as ‘resetting the limitation period’. In these circumstances I might be able to help you.
Possibly, yes. Even if you’ve previously engaged a debt recovery company, there are situations where further action can still be effective. A new approach, such as a letter from a different third party, can sometimes prompt a response from the debtor, especially if your previous efforts have stalled. Keep in mind that the success of debt recovery depends on various factors, including the age of the debt, the debtor’s financial situation, and the documentation available. It’s important to have realistic expectations, but a fresh attempt with a different strategy can sometimes yield results.
Most debt collection companies claiming to have overseas debt collectors or partners are likely being dishonest.
Only a very small number of firms (possibly two) occasionally handle overseas debt collection.
Despite this, it is still possible to recover money from abroad.
Yes, I can offer some guidance on disputed debts. It’s very common for debtors to dispute a debt, at least initially. Whether I can help depends on the specifics of the situation, but here’s what I can do: I can help you assess the validity of the debt and the basis of the dispute. We can review your documentation (contracts, invoices, communications) to see if you have a solid case. I can also offer advice on how to communicate with the debtor, negotiate a settlement, or explore options like small claims court, if appropriate. Keep in mind, I’m not a legal professional, so I can’t provide legal advice.
Not really, no. But if you feel that the debtor might have behaved badly leading up to their bankruptcy, the Official Receiver might be interested.
